{Curiously Strong}

Did you know Altoids come in flavors? Well it was news to me-and happy news at that! We each received a tin of our own for Christmas. Ginger for me and black licorice for Chris. They definitely pack a punch like the original, but have some flavor to go along with it, making the experience much more pleasant! I would highly recommend!

All In The Label

Gah-I'm in love! What a perfectly charming way to include a return address on hand-written thank you's and such! I spotted this over on Young House Love and am now wishing I had one for myself. After all, it would be worth the investment seeing as our address is now permanent:)

A Homemade Christmas

I have always been a sucker for homemade goods! The fact that someone would think about me in advance to get creative with presents is simply wonderful! But I come from a long history of very crafty people, so I guess it's in my blood.

This Christmas, in addition to the gifts I picked out for friends and family, I wanted to add my own element of homemade. And since I know my friends love a good chai tea, I decided to make a big batch of dry chai mix, and can it in individual jars. Just pop a piece of fabric between the lid, tie a note with twine around the top and call it a day! So simple, yet cute and useful! I love how it turned out and am now brainstorming some other great things that would make good gifts for next year!

That is, of course, in addition to the homemade cookies, fudge and peppermint bark that I also give away every year!

What about you? What are some lovely homemade gifts you've done or received?

A Perfectly Stuffed Stocking

Wanted to share a few delightful finds that would make lovely stocking stuffers-and all {mostly} under $25!

The newest from the talented duo, She & Him!

While anything from Lush would make a heavenly gift, this cinders bath bomb would be particularly wonderful to take the chill off a cold winter night!

Because ballet slippers always seem to complete a chilly, lazy Saturday afternoon-especially if you have hardwood floors!

This perfume stick comes from a wonderful little collection at Anthropologie! I can't decide on a favorite between Hamarikyu Gardens and Taverns & the Haugue, but both would make a perfect little accessory for a gym bag or purse-you know, for that little freshen up!

Pretty little studs to class up jeans and a cute tee.

My favorite way to eat chocolate-poured over caramel and sprinkled with a touch of gray salt like these-be still my heart!

And finally, the skeleton of any good magazine collection, Real Simple, where Martha indulges us with useful tips of every kind. The only tricky part is finding the time to read the whole issue!

Happy stuffing!

Hostess Love

While browsing my new Cooking Light magazine at lunch I came across this adorable little apron by ZenDeluxe. Wouldn't it make a lovely gift for someone who likes to play hostess?!

Stocking Stuffer Ideas

Stockings are by far one of my favorite things to open on Christmas morning! You just never know what treasures you might pull out of that oversized sock. Just some ideas (and maybe a subtle hint for my hubby) to make this years stocking absolutely amazing!

Capri Blue Volcano candle ~ One of my all-time favorite candles! They fill an entire room with their fabulous aroma! You can find them in several shapes and sized at Anthropologie.

Old Navy Socks ~ Who doesn't love cozy socks! On the 19th these will be on sale for $1! At that price you could buy several pair!

Lindt Dark Chocolate ~ To say I love these dark chocolate bites of heaven is an understatement! I look forward to the holiday season just to have an excuse to buy them, you know, so I have candy out when people come over...

Lush Butterball ~ You can see my full post on some other fabulous Lush products here , but these delicious bath bombs would be a treat for any bath lover!

Starbucks Via ~ I've heard mixed reviews about Starbucks new instant coffee, but they seem worth trying to me! How wonderful would it be to have great coffee on hand in a pinch?!

Pacifica Solid perfume ~ Delicious little solid perfumes that fit perfectly in your purse! And they come in the most delectable scents. You can find these at Whole foods for about $3.50.

Only 9 shopping days left! Happy stuffing!
